Marsa Alam Airport

First opened in 2001, the Marsa Alam International Airport is the first privately owned and operated commercial airport in Egypt. It is also the world’s first airport to operate under complete BOT due to the efforts of EMAK Marsa Alam for Management & Operation of Airports SAE, which is a subsidiary of M.A. Al-Kharafi Group.

The airport is a vital hub for regional and international travel, leading directly to airports in London, Paris, Berlin, Rome, Beirut, Kuwait, Dubai and Jeddah. Located a mere five minutes' drive from the heart of Port Ghalib, the airport is only a one hour flight away from Cairo, a short 30 minutes away from Jeddah, two and a half hours away from the Gulf and five hours from mainland Europe.

With over 1 million passengers flying through each year, Marsa Alam Airport has proven to be an integral gateway to this surreal location. Just like Port Ghalib Resort, the airport is a fixture of pure convenience.
