Brussels
Airlines started it first flight to Marsa Alam Airport, on Tuesday 31th of
October 2017, carrying, on board, 161 passengers, as the first Belgium
touristic group of the new route from brussels to Marsa Alam.
The
Aircraft was welcomed by Pilot Tarek Taban Zadah, Marsa Alam Airport’s General
Manager, to ensure the services has been provided to the aircraft and
passengers, who were very satisfied with all services provided to the aircraft
and passengers.
The
airport administration followed the international protocol of welcoming the
aircraft with water cannons to celebrate its first arrival at the airport.
Brussels
Airlines is the leading Belgium airline that offers the widest choice of
flights to and from its base in Brussels Airport. The company will operate 3
flights, per week, on board an “Airbus 320” aircraft.
The
launch of a new airline route comes as part of the airport’s efforts to revive the tourism in the area and As a part of EMAK (Marsa Alam international airport) marketing development
efforts to increase number of flights to Marsa Alam airports.
