As a step towards promoting the Egyptian tourism, The Italian football club “AS Roma” has officially announced, on their official website, their agreement with the Egyptian Tourist Organization in Italy, to be the team’s official tourism partner that will last for a year, until the end of the season 2017/2018. The announcement of this agreement was on Saturday 14th of October 2017, in the beginning of their match with Napoli club.
This partnership agreement states that Egypt will be one of the Serie A’s club outfit official partner and that the club will promote for the Egyptian tourism through the team home ground stadium’s LED screens and on their different media communication portals.
In cooperation with each other, the two partners will begin to launch some dynamisms on the public media headed mainly by the Egyptian-Italian Roma’s winger Stephan El Shaarawy whose nickname is Il Faraone (The Pharaoh), who has so much fans, in both countries Egypt and Italy. Also, the Italian club is, increasingly, supported in Egypt and has huge number of fans all over the world.
This agreement will lead to an increase in the flow of Italian tourists to Egypt that already has its first impact after the announcement of Egyptair and the Italian tour operators to increase their flights to Cairo and Sharm El-Shikh.
On the other hand, Marsa Alam Airport will witness an increase in the Italian flights in the winter to be, by the beginning of December 2017, total 50 flights from different Italian cities: Milano, Verona, Bergamo, Bologna.
