The German touristic and business travel website “FVW” announced that the Egyptian tourism continued to recover significantly during the month of September and That the Red Sea, especially the cities of Marsa Alam and Hurghada, has highly demand than Canary Islands which was the largest winter destination for German tourists, who were in the first rank in the nationalities that visit the Red Sea since the cessation of Russian tourism to Egypt by the end of 2015.

The site showed that the latest data issued by “Traveltainment”, the leading travel and tourism booking agency and leading reservations provider, showed an 86% increase in bookings for German tourists to Hurghada, as well as a 121% increase in reservations for Marsa Alam after becoming the preferred destinations for German tourists who wish to spend their winter holidays on the Red Sea coast, with lower demand for travel to other major islands of Las Palmas, Arrecife and Southern Tenerife.
