Marsa Alam International Airport continues to set a new record, as on Tuesday 17th of July 2018, the airport celebrated its 100,000 flight, operated by Tui fly.

Water canyons welcomed the arrival of the plane and passengers were treated with cake, roses and some special soveniers upon arriving in the arrival hall. Tui's flight crew captain was offered an honor trophy for their continuous co-operation.

The management of Marsa Alam international airport confirmed in a statement that the head of the receivers was Eng. Hossam Al-Kharafi, CEO of the EMAK Group and accompanied by Major General Hany Akab, Chairman of EMAK Marsa Alam Airport company, General Tarek Taban Zaddah, General Manager of Marsa Alam International Airport and a group of the Top management.

The airport lounges were adorned with ceremonial flags and welcoming signs. The ceremony was shown on all the airport's screens.
